A Circus Party!

My little baby celebrated her 4th birthday this past week!  I cannot believe how time flies.  We decided to bring the circus, so we opened up our garage and set up the party!
I got these (free printable) cake toppers from One Charming Party.  I also used their free party invitation.  To make the banner for the trapeze girl, I just cut out a baby banner, sewed it together with my machine, and hot glued it to the old fashioned soda straws (on sale in my Etsy store).
The table cloths I made and then tied bows around the corners.  The red lace tablecloth I found in Canada at the Goodwill for something like $2!  If you are ever in Canada stop by the Goodwill, I found some amazing vintage goods for a steal!  More on that later.
Each little girl had their own hot dog basket with grapes!  I found the baskets at TJ Maxx, six for $3.  Now they're a fun thing to have around for BBQs.
Here's the birthday girl with her present.  After seeing a dessert cart online, I looked for one and found mine at Overstock for $69.  It arrived dark cherry stained and I painted it 'ballet slipper' pink from Walmart.  On the morning of her birthday we wheeled it out with a few presents and baskets of play food.  Both the little girls went running.  They've played with it every single day since.
Each girl got their own envelope with jumbo tickets for the party 'attractions.'  We had face painting and a balloon artist.  The girls loved handing in their tickets when it was their turn.

I cut pieces of cotton candy in the jar.  The girls loved going over for another handful throughout the party!
Enjoy Xoxo

  3. How cute, fun to see a girly spin on this. I used the exact same printables for my Max's 1st circus party!
